Formaldemeter htV is a handheld, direct-reading portable instrument that offers a convenient way to monitor levels of airborne formaldehyde. The htV can precisely measure formaldehyde concentrations in parts per million (ppm) and mg/m3 over a wide range of temperature and humidity conditions. Fast and easy to use, it employs a proven sensor technology that provides an immediate indication of formaldehyde levels.
Formaldemeter htV has a simple, user-friendly interface and features an easy-to-read four-digit display. It can be used as a portable, handheld detector, or in an upright sampling position with an optional built-in stand. Formaldemeter htV is unlike any other formaldehyde monitoring device. It is capable of measuring many samples consecutively without the need for inconvenient ancillary equipment and is much more accurate than conventional devices such as color stain tubes and badges. Formaldemeter htV gives the user real-time results. This means that potential overexposures can be identified as they occur, without the delay and expense associated with laboratory analysis. We provide a custom designed calibration standard that has been tested against approved analytic calibration systems. This unique calibration standard allows the user to easily check the instrument for accuracy and performance.
The Formaldemeter htV is a very cost effective approach to accurately monitoring indoor air quality and reporting exposure to airborne formaldehyde levels in a variety of potentially hazardous situations. This versatile formaldehyde monitor can be used as a rapid response tool providing an immediate warning of dangerous concentration levels, or for continuous monitoring for worker safety.
